We came. We debated. We got all teary eyed. We wrote national lawyers guild phone numbers on our arms. We danced in the streets! And we are still here! Here are some photos from Occupy Boston last night:
“You can’t evict an idea” projected on the wall above the General Assembly. We had over one thousand participating in the defense of Dewey Square!
A boston police officer strolls by a sinister garbage truck brought in to remind us that the cops have the ability to disappear all of our belongings.
A totally excellent brass band played amazing music all night! We danced in the square. We danced in the street.
The woman on the left made this banner by hand! Perfect message for eviction night!
A very empowering night for Occupy Boston! Thank you everyone who came to Dewey Square. This is what solidarity looks like!
STILL STANDING THE NEXT MORNING!
UPDATE: RUMORS ARE SPREADING THAT WE WILL BE EVICTED TONIGHT! LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE TO PARTY FOR THE REVOLUTION TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW!!
